Description
When the Pacific decides to cause trouble, Lucky somehow ends up in the middle of it. Again.
Lucky only wanted a peaceful day at the beach—a chair, a cooler, and a promise to himself that nothing dramatic would happen. But when the ocean pulls back and the sirens start screaming, Lucky’s simple day turns into pure chaos.
Instead of running like everyone else, he salutes the wave with a soda. Five minutes later, he’s surfing rooftops on a busted door, armed with nothing but sarcasm, Spam, and a dented beer cooler he proudly names Captain.
As a massive tsunami tears through the island, Lucky finds himself battling everything from flashbacks of Vietnam and chickens riding tidal waves, to Darlyn threatening to kill him if the ocean doesn’t do it first. Along the way, he learns that survival isn’t always about strength or skill—it’s about being stubborn enough to refuse defeat.
Hilarious, fast-paced, and wildly unpredictable, Lucky and the Tsunami Run is a comedy-disaster adventure about one man’s ridiculous fight to stay afloat—literally—and why the island never lets him forget who he is.
